Winds loads on poles and plant
If your power utility does not specify wind loads to use on poles and plant you will need to derive values you feel are suitable for the context. Wind loads can be obtained by multiplying the conductor wind load by a drag (shape) factor. Commonly used factors are shown in AS1170.2 Appendix E and AS4676:2000
