The report when using a rectangular pole gives additional information. To clarify some details in the report: Tipload value – the single tipload value in the displayed direction, same as for a round pole Load long/trans – the tipload result resolved to face/side of the rectangular pole Worst load on face/side – the worst case
When performing a tipload calculation the report can include a % loaded value, showing the relationship of the tipload to the pole strength expressed as a percentage. To do this loading calculation you need to: use a pole from the database that has strength values in the appropriate fields in the database in Options>Load combinations
There is a known issue in the results chart generated by the Tipload module (Detailed Results>Tipload Charts). If the tipload direction, as wind angle increments, swings from West of North to East of North, or visa versa, the data in the chart is not displayed correctly, see the orange line in the chart below.
