What is the “fixed load”?

In the tipload module you can add one or two plant items, and the first item allows you to enter a “Fixed load”. This fixed load is not affected by wind loading and is unfactored.

It can be used to model for example a heavy service cable (sometimes you might like to add a nominal 1kN for this), or the load transferred through a stay wire onto a bollard pole.

Load units is kN (or lbs for US version).
