Nuts ‘n’ Bolts is a simple estimating system that may be used to estimate costs and produce a bill of materials for a project. The system is based around a database that lists:

• Stock Items: component parts, elements or stores items (by Stock Code, Description, Unit of Issue and Price)
• Construction Models: assemblies or groupings of Stock Items and/or other Construction Models (by Construction Code, Description, Remarks, Stock Codes and associated Quantities)

The user may create Project Files that incorporate construction models, or stock items directly. From this a bill of materials may be produced, ie, a listing of all stock items required for the job.

Nuts ‘n’ Bolts can open a Poles ‘n’ Wires profile project file and create a bill of materials directly from the equipment the designer has used in creating the profile.
